  • Simulator for Business

    Hey everyone,

Hoping you'll help out a stranger. I've been tasked with buying a golf simulator for my company's new corporate HQ. This is fun because it's not my money. I'm an avid golfer but have no experience with simulators. The one catch is that the thing has to look nice as 80% of the reason our CEO green-lighted this purchase was to look cool for recruiting purposes and for a cooler general atmosphere at work.

Our budget is around 15k. From what I've read, the TruGolf Vista12 is probably the best bet. It looks nice so it covers that part, and some of us care about functionality and I hear that's pretty solid for the price too.

Before I go forward with this, I'm hoping for some input either confirming this or giving me some other options to look at. Thanks for your help - will post pictures after it's installed!

I'd go with whatever Jordan Spieth has

true vista 12 is not bad, but you might also want to look at the golfsimulatorguys web site. They offer the same studio but you can use skytrak. IN fact, check out this link.

Thanks Penrose, can you help me out with how skytrak is different/better than Vista?

The problem with Skytrak is that they are not well-suited for somewhere that will have both left and right handed hitters.

I believe that Trugolf calculates ball data, Skytrak measures ball data which will be more accurate.

Trugolf has minimum space requirements. Make sure you have the room if you're going that route.

I was thinking cost and then you could use TGC or perfect golf since they are cheaper to some degree, but everyone is correct. You need left and right so E6 software is the way to go.

Left and right so e6? Protee with tgc. I would be winning to bet protee is every bit as accurate as the trugolf system if not more.
