I am looking at creating/buying a golf simulator setup with a budget of $10k. Ideally I would like it to be mobile so if there is a nice night outside I can move it out to the driveway. During the winter and rainy days in Chicago I would like to have it in the garage. I am pretty set on getting a skytrak system and from what I have read here a Ben Q projector seems to be the way to go. Does anyone have any recommendation on build designs or companies that can help me create this?

Since I'm spending your money and not mine...if I had to do it all over again with a similar budget..
I would buy a gc2 with hmt, and just get a good mat and net pro. I did buy a gc2 and benq short throw projector, all the extra stuff like screen and cage enclosure, top of the line pc, touch screen monitor, tgc, etc.
95% of the time I just use the foresight range to work on my swing and occasionally do the par3 challenges for the fr1..I have 5 courses I acquired through a nice forum member..

Not too sure about the mobile part. I have a net return pro, but between the all the nets/cages to protect the walls, moving it would be a major pita! I would suggest you have your main setup indoors, then purchase a separate golf net for outside and use a laptop for display. Your indoor setup will end up alot more permanent than you think. Sounds like for the mobile part, a launch monitor is definately what you need.
