It all started when I was building my house three years ago and the builder said, "oops, we may have dug your basement 8 inches too deep. Sorry. You'll have nice tall ceilings down there though."
Fast forward to the fall of this year when a buddy of mine built a hitting cage in his backyard. So I decided I would build one in my basement.
...and then I stumbled upon this damn web sight and all of you good people!! ~$10k later, I'm so thrilled I had the balls to take this on. I'm a guy who doesn't know which is the functional end of a hammer - but with bungie cords, a little duct tape and a lot of creativity, I'm hitting balls almost every night with my kids.
None of us are very good mind you, be at least we're embarrassing ourselves in private (and in style!).
If you're on the fence or considering this project take my word for it - GO FOR IT.
Happy golfing everybody!
