Delay comparison: SkyTrak vs GC2 running TGC

I made this video comparing my old SkyTrak with my new to me GC2. For what it's worth, the computer specs are i5 4690s 3.2ghz 8gb RAM with GTX 750ti.

I thought GC2 was supposed to be almost instantaneous. This looks to be about two seconds, hit at 1 sec and launches at 3.

Nice upgrade though, bigger FOV and no more short game issues.

Yes it is better all-around. I think for a guy that's just going to practice and play some rounds, SkyTrak is fine. The extra delay is not a huge deal. For having friends over, GC2 is a bit better. GC2 is also better with my son (5) who may hit them at all angles and the GC2 picks up those shots much more frequently, which I suppose is good and bad haha. Overall, I'm happy with the switch, but if someone was comparing them, I wouldn't push them to the GC2 unless their circumstances are such that it makes sense. SkyTrak is just fine.

One other comment- Creative Golf 3D is a tad faster than TGC. Perhaps due to Bluetooth (TGC) vs USB cable (CG3D) more than software differences. I was going to compare E6 as well, but I can't get the demo working with the GC2. I'll do JNPG if they ever do a demo.

TGC (top) on GC2 with Bluetooth -- vs -- CG3D connected via cable to GC2:
