How many Skytrak hardware releases have there been or is there just one version and only software updates? TIF

If I understand the question only software updates. There might be some firmware for the skystrak unit, but it is my understanding the unit sold 2 years ago is the same as welling today.

I've heard similar from a respected source - same hardware, but a few firmware updates and PC software updates.
