    Hitting mat question

This subject has probably been covered, but I couldn't find an answer. I'm wanting to be able to see the club contact point on my mat (RealFeelGolf). On real grass you have the divot, but don't have that on artificial turf. Does anyone have a method to see where the contact point is on a mat? My pro suggested using a line of talcum powder, but I'm afraid that will just make a mess.

JimE Yeah that sounds like a mess waiting to happen. What about a high speed camera?

There's a company that makes sheets that you can put over a mat to record divot marks. I have never used one myself so I cannot speak to its effectiveness. Below is a link to an online seller that carries the product.

Maybe a dry erase marker will work?

Thanks for the comments. I've found another aid that I'm going to order. It's from Acu-Strike Golf . Looks like it should work for what I'm wanting to do. I'll post again after I try it out.
