Thank you for all of the help. Finally done, and loving it. Wouldn’t change a thing. Feel free to ask any questions, but my screen is about 8” from wall and is mounted by wrapping around two 10’ tubes of 4” pvc. This keeps screen smooth. Thanks to bbjr. I totally copied his setup.

Here are some pics from behind. I’ve been ripping balls into this thing every day for a few months. Literally cracked a callaway chrome soft in half, so screen is taking a pounding. Still looks pretty good and straight. Here are some shots from the back.4 Photos

I have angle iron mounted to ceiling and running between the pvc. I used tarp clips and bungees to hang moving blankets. No net. Blankets are around 6” from back wall, maybe less. Screen is around 8”. Works fantastic. No rebound.Originally posted by Buckminster View PostWhat is hanging behind your screen? If blankets or carpet, how is it attached to the ceiling? And how far back from the impact screen?

To be precise, I used a 1” x 8” x 10’ board and mounted it to ceiling. I then mounted the swivels and angle iron to the board. I then mounted my screen and blankets and then stapled carpet runner to the 1” side of the board. This is what I used to mount pvc. https://www.amazon.com/Oatey-43497-3.../dp/B002CTLKM4

Thanks. I have decided to go with the "hanging model" 144 x 108 Supertex impact screen from the eBay seller: golfsimulator. It will be a couple of weeks before my new building is ready, but I plan to hang the screen from the ceiling with short chains attached to a long piece of 3/4" metal electrical conduit inserted into the sleeve sewn into the screen. I will also attach it at the bottom in a similar manner. If needed, I can attach along sides to a steel cable runs from floor to ceiling that I am attaching nets to. I plan to put a net behind my screen and hang the screen only 8" from the wall. If needed, I will add blankets or memory foam behind the net.
