Protee 2.0 and Gc2 distance issues

Wasn't sure where to really post this but, my gc2 distances seem to be off. I compared them to my friends and the ballspeed and carry distances are around 3-4 mph slower.. It's upto date as far as firmware is there something else to check? Also the protee software is even less than foresight reports. For example a ball will show 140 carry on the foresight yet protee will register it at like 130. What am I missing here?

I'm talking about on the actual display of the foresight the ballspeeds were off on both units without software. The protee is for sure off from what the gc2 shows and it's very hooky. Seems like all the shots on the thing are huge over draws and hooks

Make sure you have updated GSX to 0.6.0 and test again.

How did you test the units side by side to see the difference? And what club were you hitting that was off and lots of side spin?

Year running that version of GSX. DId you guys have to modify your settings for irons and woods ect... ? The numbers are off from what the dipslay reads and what protee shows. Also alot of side spin hooks with the software. Can you adjust the delay also so it registers the shot faster?

For me to have the yardage feel like it is for my area where I play (approx 3000 elevation) For Protee I have irons and wedges at 6 and Driver and woods at 2. It used to be more like 16 and 7 before the last GSX big update.

In TGC the iron and wedge setting is now 2 and Driver and woods is 2.

Where are you seeing delay? In Protee software?

Yea my buddy runs the foresight software and his shot registers instantly when it hits the screen. Protee seems to take a a second or two to register. I'll mess around with the slide options. What really threw me off is the reading on the gc2 unit itself would say 140 and the protee would say carry of 130 or something like that. You think since it gets the data from the gc2 that it would be the same.

Did your buddy have wait for spin off? Were you testing on Protee range? What interface version and what GSX version?

No, it uses all the numbers but carry and Protee calculates that it self and ball flight. That is where the GSX sliders came in. They are closer now but boost them till you see your yardage match or what you get in real life. At about 5 or 6 you should see better yardage. I like to see mine about 3 to 4 % higher carry in the sim than the GC2 due to what we get on my course. Some times it will still show a few yards less depending on the shot.

When you say its very hooky, what are you comparing it to? The foresight range?

I think it maybe something to do with the angle the Gc2 is sitting at possibly cause I'm hitting these very big draws and even when I try to fade it it still draws. I know I'm not hitting these type of shots

When you say it fades, what does the GC2 say. What's the start direction and sidespin or axis on a shot you think you aren't fading.

I'll report back tomorrow with some more testing and let you know.

                            Thanks
