Simulator noise

Anyone have any additional ideas for decreasing noise to others? Was going to do rubber flooring, mat over that, then probably have an enclosure with curtains on outside and then probably a door sealer. Thinking archery net instead of screen, or net and then screen.

I feel like driver would be much louder, could always hot melt or yarn that. I feel like irons shouldn't be a problem. Golf room will be in furthest part of house from other people. Just want to minimize any possible noise to others.

Really don't want to use foam balls.. Trying to have realistic practice and be able to play golf without bothering others.

Was also thinking of a room within a room concept except using those thick curtains on side and roof of enclosure instead of making an actual structure.

I think you are overthinking this. If you are putting the sim in the furthest part of the house....

If you have a practice net or something that you can hit into, hit a few shots before you get carried away with the build.

I'd worry if there were adjacent bedrooms, but beyond that?
