  • Need help picking out a screen and enclosure

I' have recently renovated my house and have been buying parts for my sim here and there. I am on one of my last parts being the simulator screen and enclosure. I want this to double as a movie screen for my open layout living room so I think I want to steer clear of the original idea i had of a 16:9 carl's premium impact screen and 5' slim enclosure https://www.carlofet.com/carls-golf-...ct-screen.html. And go with something more like the 9x12 allsportsystems microbay with the HD screen and all of the addons. http://allsportsystems.com/golf-simu...p.php#microbay

    Questions:
    1. Does anybody have either of these? can you share your experience with them?
    2. Can you project a 16:9 or even a 16:10 image on the 9x12 screen? What will it look like?
    3. Does anybody have the HD screen for the microbay?
    4. For either of the screens how does it hold up? how is the ball recoil? how is the tension of the screen?
    5. Does anybody have any other suggestions?

Please post any pictures of either these will GREATLY help!

    Thank You!

If you want it to double as a home theater, then sticking with 16:9 aspect ratio should be a priority. Of course you can project 16:9 on a 4:3 screen, but you’ll have black bars on the top and/or bottom of the screen.
