Tried to search but “tee” is too short. Didn’t take long to figure out wooden tees being blasted at the screen isn’t a good idea. Thinking something rubber. Anything out there for this set up? Thanks!

Best tee’s for an impact screen?

Having a tee actually hit the impact screen would be a first, at least in my experience.
The major problem with wooden tees is that when they break they may leave quite a few splinters that in time will produce a bit of a mess. Plastic tees tend to break cleanly, hence less debris.
In any case, tees striking the impact screen are the least of your worries.

The good ones are no longer available or come and go. There was an aerospark tee that was taller than the tomahawk tee, then there was a baosity tees which were rubber and are good. Birtee is good, but it's a firmer plastic and tend to break.

If your screen is pretty tight...balls usually drop straight down, but the tees (I prefer the hard indestructible 3" tees) tend to hit the screen right as it rebounds from the ball...with the tees flying back at the other folk sitting. We even stuck a tee in the screen. Switched to the soft plastic tower shaped tees, but they're not available at 3".

They work great! I don't want to teat up the glued down hitting mat to install it from underneath. The only other downside was it doesn't go low enough for those wanting really low tee shots.Originally posted by BGCurtis2nd View PostHere is the one I use, doesn't come out and adjustable.

Thanks. James from InHomeGolf recommended these, said they also don't fly back.Originally posted by Dan McWhirter View PostIf your screen is pretty tight...balls usually drop straight down, but the tees (I prefer the hard indestructible 3" tees) tend to hit the screen right as it rebounds from the ball...with the tees flying back at the other folk sitting. I like Tomahawk. If I need it a little taller, I stack two together.

I use the Birtee tees with the tee claw system. Tee never flies away. Works great. The tethers will break after a few weeks/months of use but they give you a decent number with the tee claw. I have a fiberbuilt mat so the tee claw can't be attached normally so I put the base of the tee claw under the mat so it won't go anywhere.
