If money was not a factor, and you had the room, which golf sim / lm would you get? Trackman? Gcquad? Full swing? Other?

What would you pick?

At the moment, I would stick with TM. This is based on its excellent hardware and software. A negative for me is the marking of balls, which I hope might change soon.
A Quad would come in second (at the present time, I am not impressed with it from the software side of things). The marking of the club for data is also a negative for me.

Man this is fun to think about! Many systems come to mind.
I'd probably go with Full Swing, although I haven't heard too many user's experience. Here's my reasons.- All the cameras are ceiling mount, so nothing on the floor which is great if you want to accommodate righties and lefties. Plus you don't have to worry about a drunk friend or kid knocking over a floor unit.
- Can use any ball.
- I don't think you need any club stickers for club data, but not sure on that.
- Tiger Woods rocks it!
- Can use a balance board with it.
- Integrates with Swing Catalyst.
- The multi-sport stuff is cool.
- Their game and practice software looks really nice.
- Integrates with E6 which is great for online play. I don't think there's any integration with TGC2019 which kinda stinks.
- Ability to add the moving green which looks bad ass!
Less expensive ceiling mount are GC Hawk and Uneekor EYE XO. These units look great as well, but my top choice out of these 3 would be the Uneekor EYE XO since you get the full video feedback of striking the ball (I don't think the GC Hawk gives this) and more integration with sim software than Foresight. There's also the Optishot Vision but haven't heard too much about that.
All good choices! One of these days....
I'm interested in hearing other people's dream simulator!

I'd go GCHawk. I think Foresight is the undisputed leader in indoor launch monitors in terms of accurate and reliable data. The Hawk is ideal because of the huge
hitting zone and ease of use for righties and lefties. Plus the multisport and fairgrounds looks kinda cool. A lot of people don't like it, but I personally love the FSX
software. I would also try to integrate it with TGC 2019 so I could get every course under the sun! If we're talking unlimited money, I'd also throw in a Full Swing
virtual green, Swing Catalyst pressure plate, RoboGolfPro, and maybe even a few Phantom cameras for the absolute ultimate swing analysis!
Edit: GungHoGolf I had never heard of Gears3D, I just looked it up and WOW! Definitely putting that on the list for my dream sim! Not that I could actually
interpret any of the data and do anything useful with it lol.Last edited by RollinRox; 01-12-2021, 03:35 AM.
