Tech Help Needed - Just finished sim room build, setting up software/pc/monitor/etc.

HI, Looking for some people with some technical knowledge to help me with a few items.

Some info. I have a good PC/Monitor/Projector setup and ready to go. Nvidia RTX 3080 GPU so should be able to handle everything easily. I have a Skytrak and I am going to purchase TGC 2019 to go with it. The projector is mounted and looking perfect on screen. PC and monitor also setup and good to go.

1) I have a 38 inch widescreen monitor that I would like to split into 2 windows (I know how to do this) but I would like to know if there is a way to have the golf software in one window and say ball flight data on another window beside it. Is there a way to do this? I see many sim builds that have multiple monitors but I am just not tech savvy enough to know yet if this is possible to do. Adding to this, I would like the projector to be running the golf software as well either mirroring the one side of the PC monitor that has the golf or do I need to do something different here as well? So, to be clear I am hoping to have half of my monitor showing the golf software, the other half of the monitor showing ball flight info, and then the projector showing the golf as well. Hoping this can be done, just don't have a clue on how to achieve this when using TGC 2019 and/or Skytrak stuff.

2) Do I use NVIDIA settings for all of my colors and graphics or just leave things as they are default on the computer. Do I need to adjust settings for both the monitor and the projector or will they just match after settings are changed once?

3) What is the best way to use the projector, just to the duplicate or extend screen option through windows or is there a better way?

4) Any general tips/tricks/expertise to suggest/guide me through other setup details I haven't mentioned? I really have not done anything like this before so anything helps even if it is obvious to most, I am really clueless where to start with any of this.

So it sounds like you want to maybe have the Skytrak software displaying on one screen and the TGC software on another. But the problem you run into with that is you can't have the Skytrak app and TGC running at the same time. When playing TGC, Skytrak software has to be closed out.

When you play TGC, ball data is displayed after every shot. You can set it to a timer so it will display for 5 seconds or 10 seconds or you can set it to manual where you press the "i" key on your keyboard to make it come up and disappear. So you will still see data after every shot, it will just be all on the same screen instead of multiple screens.

The Skytrak range shows ball flight with a shot tracer and data together on the same screen (not sure if you've used your Skytrak yet so apologies if that's just stating what you already know).

If I'm correctly understanding what you're describing, then no, it's not possible. I believe with some other launch monitors it's possible to have launch monitor data on one screen and TGC gameplay on another. But the Skytrak software cannot be running at the same time as TGC, so there's no way to show Skytrak data on a separate screen. Only way to see it is between shots during the round.

TGC archives every shot you hit, so after the round you can go to your player profile page and see data for every shot from the round (and all previous rounds). It's a cool feature, but it doesn't publish in real-time.
