Hello everyone! I have been scrolling this forum for a few days now and there is a ton of information on this sight. I’m like many and in the process of building a home with a dedicated simulator space. The room dimension are 15’x30’ with a 10’ ceiling. I was thinking making this a trey ceiling and adding an additional 2’ of height. My primary focus is for game improvement. I’m currently a 10 handicap and want to get to single digits. I would like this to be a complete build installed with a budget of 40-60k. I’m torn between three at the moment (Trackman, Foresight and HD Golf). What is my best choice in respect to accuracy, support and ease of use? Any and all help would be appreciated Thanks!

Hello Bjraven, and welcome to the forum! Don't feel bad about being overwhelmed, there's a lot to learn when you first dive in to the home sim market.
Your room dimensions are perfect as-is, no need for the tray ceiling.
At your budget level, both the Trackman and the GCQuad are excellent choices. I have and use both. The TM4 will support RH/LH players much easier (you have the room width for a single, centered ball position), and you won't need dots on your clubs to get club data.
I'd be happy to talk you through all your options - you can get on my call calendar at https://calendly.com/gunghogolf- Ron at GunghoGolf.com - we specialize in TrackMan, FlightScope, Foresight, Uneekor, SkyTrak, Garmin, Bushnell, TGC, and E6 Connect. 512-861-4151 or email hello AT gunghogolf.com.

Bjraven, I am also looking to do something similar in the same budget range. I am currently talking with Trackman and have received a quote but am wondering what, if anything, I can carve out and do myself that will save significant dollars. Have you got that far yet in your research?

You can do everything yourself. Either chat with Ron from the above post (GungHoGolf), go to the Par2Pro website or chat with Jay from Golf sim videos. Ron and Jay have both TM and Quad and can give you a good comparison on both. I am a TM4 owner and love it, but also practice and take lessons on a QUAD. From my perspective ball and club data on both is excellent, but for the moment the software by TM is second to none (FS is apparently working on a big upgrade though). Neither yourself nor Bjraven would go wrong with either. If you have any questions for me, please ask.
From my perspective doing it yourself will save you a lot over your quote from TM, but I really have to say that their solution is very nice and with it you don't have to stress over any of the small details (like ensuring you protect from bounce backs from errant shots etc.). FS also has a good sim in a box solution.

Take a look at the Uneekor products. They are quite new to the market but have very interesting products at attractive prices. They caught my eye because of the ceiling mount. I have contacted them for info a number of times and they have been very responsive and appear to be keen on feedback and continual improvement. Their camera replay of impact is impressive.
