Ryan5508 does your garage floor slant at all for drainage. If so how did you compensate for the slope? I am having trouble making a level platform to hit off of with the slope. I also use the monster turfComment

Ryan I have the p3 proswing and I have the same simulater set up that your looking for in the garage. Everything cost me about 3500.00 bucks. P3 software with the grass top was 1300.00 a new desktop to run the software 600.00 a projector 300 and stance mat the fits the sensor pad for the p3. The nets, impact screen and frame rounded it out to 3500.00. The p3 works fine it has its limitations but, I use it for keeping my game in shape and playing 92 courses at my desire. It has all the great courses you want to play and the graphics are good P3 has good tech support and they are always available during the week eastern time. P3 also has software upgrades from time to time as well. If you haven't bought on already, I can get you started. I'm actually selling my P3 system ( just the software and the sensor grass top mat ) for 700 which would save you 600 bucks off the bat.. The unit is perfectly fine no problems at all. I'm just looking for something more advanced becausef my son is getting interested in golf pretty heavily and wants something more detailed. But for me, the p3 worked really well and if your on a budget, it's the best way to go.. let me know thanks..Comment

Ryan I'm getting the protee as well. They sell it with two different software options. TGC stand alone and the protee 2.0 software that comes with TGC as well. You cannot buy this system without TGC. I asked about it. The TGC has 50000+ courses that have been designed by fellow sim golfers out there. .but the 2.0 has Agusta, St Andrews and all the famous courses. But the graphics are better much better on the TGC. The difference in price is about 500 to get the 2.0 + TGC software.. Google protee install and review by par 2 pro that should help you in your decision.. good luck. Also it's far more expensive than the 3 k budget you are on. Just for the software and sensor pad and lighting and vertical launch cam is 3000 to 3500 respectively... So the whole thing including netting mat impact screen projector and computer to run the system your talking at leat another 2000.00 FYI. But don't make the same mistake I did in getting a cheap system like I did because you'll end up spending more in the long run.. Remember you get what you pay for and with the protee you won't be disappointed.Comment

I just last week purchased the Protee TGC pack. Should have it on Friday.
So far I have into mine-
1. Protee- $3000
2. Ultimate monster turf 60X60- $250
3. Inpact netting- $200
4. Misc building materials- around $200
I have re-purposed my media center pc to run TGC (i7, 6g ram, 580gtx). when I built it it was a little over $2000. Sometime in the future I will put another 580 from my main pc into it for sli. Also just moved a 30" dell pc monitor out there for the time being.
I had the old carpet and putting green section already.
Summer or fall I will pick up a screen and projector. I figure that will be around $1600. Also some more fake grass to replace the carpet for around $200.
The end project should cost around $8000 for everything. So I already blew my original budget by a ways.
