Hi guys, trying to determine the ideal setup for monitors. I have held off ordering anything other than a single 24" touchscreen while building my sim so as not to have buyer's remorse. Will be running an Eye XO with TGC initially. Looking to have the best combo of monitors including touchscreens and large screens, ideally with a separate large screen for non-sim viewing. I believe my system is capable of 5 total monitors which is obviously plenty. What's your ideal setup?

I’d start with one nice 55” TV for the wall, to show EYE XO View shot data (or club data, or whatever) while you’re playing TGC. Being able to see “raw” shot and club data while playing TGC is one of the greatest things about Uneekor ownership.
Avoid OLED TVs as they’re subject to burn-in from static views. We love the Samsung QLED 80 series - OLED-like blacks, super sharp, and no burn-in issues.
The reason I suggest starting with one is that each additional monitor will put stress on your GPU, and TGC running with View club data / club video is quite a lot of stress. It can get a little choppy even with an RTX 2080 Super with both projector and TV in 4K.- Ron at GunghoGolf.com - we specialize in TrackMan, FlightScope, Foresight, Uneekor, SkyTrak, Garmin, Bushnell, TGC, and E6 Connect. 512-861-4151 or email hello AT gunghogolf.com.

Thanks for the recommendation, when you say starting with one you mean 1 more than the touchscreen I have ordered correct? I hadn't thought of the stress that monitors put on the system, I'll build anything but these technical specs are my downfall. Have a QLED as my main TV at home and love it so adding more is even better.😎

Yes, I meant to add just one more at a time, and make sure everything still runs smoothly when playing TGC. If you're in HD, more monitors are probably doable - but with 4K you may be pushing the limit with just 3. Definitely run the small touchscreen in HD only.

GungHoGolf - Picking up on this thread - is there any way to add monitors without increasing the load on the GPU? For instance, can new monitors be linked to each other (assuming same picture and resolution)? I have my RTX2080Super driving the Optoma ZU606TST-W and also my Dell P2418HT touchscreen monitor. I guess I am wondering if there is a way to daisy chain the picture on the Dell Monitor to a larger wall mounted display without using a third output from my GPU?
Appreciate any thoughts you might have here. Jason

Actually - in my case I think I have answered my own question. Looks like I would need a DP Out port on the monitor which my Dell version does not include. I suppose I can just use an HDMI splitter or run the third connection. Will give it some thought.Last edited by jasonreg; 02-04-2022, 03:44 PM.

Yes I agree 100% with Gung Ho - stick with one big monitor or Smart TV with Eye EXO view for club data, swing, etc. I have my garage hardwired now with a router and have 3 additional Smart TV's hardwired into router. I have found great pleasure in running YouTube old majors that run for 4 to 6 hours on them. Nothing beats watching Jack win the 86 Masters over and over or Daley winning the Open, or Tigers first win at Augusta. the other two TV's are running current sports - Golf Channel & ESPN. Thinking a attaching small monitor to Projector output to run same thing projector is showing too. But having a large screen right in your face to see your swing, shot data, etc is awesome and it keeps the impact screen clean with just the golf course in front of you.
