Poor man's decision: Tv on the side or bed sheet projection

Hey guys, I'm trying to maintain a realistic budget but I keep coming across things that I feel like I "have" to have. I'm new to golf simulation and I know that I am going to be joyful to have any type of golf sim.

One of my questions is this. We already have a BenQ 2150ST. I already own a 40 inch vizio 720p from 2009. The question is, is putting up a bed sheet and hanging the BenQ going to be more enjoyable than hitting into a net with the TV on the side?

I was hitting into a net and had a tv facing me to view shots/read info for years. I really enjoyed it and I got lots of use out of the setup. About 18 months ago I invested in a screen and a projector, it's a much better experience now and I wish I would've made the change years ago. I made the screen frame from 2 x 6 studs and bought a screen from Par2Pro that I cut to size and I hung drapes purchased from Amazon for side and ceiling protection all to save funds.
