Country Club Purchase

Hello all..
I finally signed up after reading endless posts regarding simulators.
To be honest, there are many choices out there.. I still cannot come up with the right fit for our club.

Could you all chime in and give me your thoughts?

Our club is looking to purchase 2 simulators.
Room sizes are 15'wx20'Lx 10.5'H
They are also interested in a shooting software as well . We have alot of shooters at our club .

Depends what they are looking for. Trackman and Flightscope are good for practice and teaching. About Golf, HD, Trugolf and the new stuff from Visual Sports is good for ease of use and fun playing while providing a high level of accuracy but a higher cost. Foresight is accurate indoors. I think it's important to figure out what is important first.

Do you have a budget in mind? That would help. Expect to spend $30,000 per simulator and up if you buy them complete and have them set them up. You'll still spend $15k-$20k doing it all yourself. That's just for golf simulators. No idea what shooting simulators would cost. I haven't looked into them, but I've heard of them.

It's funny Richard, my club just got member approval to put in two sims. The budget they approved was $250000. I said what the hell do you think you need?

Probably not for teaching, more for bad weather play and set up indoor leagues.

I'd say you'll need something with easy left/right handed play ability - Fullswing, GC2-Ts (2 of them), HD, or aboutGolf. I only listed options that include spin measurement, since I have a bit of a bias towards this requirement seeing in my own experience that it is required for accurate shot shaping/short game.

If you have handy people at the club, do try and utilize them to build out the area instead of hiring out. The hardware/software costs are enough on their own, with your budget, and the savings you can achieve through some DIY are ridiculous! I have a GC2/TGC combo, which was "expensive", but my "build", if professionally contracted, would have been 5x-10x as expensive.

I'd put all my money into the best possible simulation experience and "save" money on the build by using the contractors/handy women/men that are members of the club with an interest in this addition.

Look at visual sports, they have a multiple of sports and options to choose from.

Yes Visual Sports and Sportscoach both have multi sport options.
