  • FIR/GIR sim vs real

Have you noticed an improvement with your fir/gir stats going from sim to real courses? I'm eager to get out on the course to see how my gir stats go from the fairway.
I feel like I've learned a lot more about course management and carry distances since playing sim all winter. When to fire at flags, when to aim away, etc.
It will feel strange not having all that gc2 data after a shot though..

Slightly better on the sim, 12 vs 11.

Hola from Mexico. Just finished a round on a jack Nicklaus course. 6993 yards was quite a challenge especially at sea level with high humidity. 71 percent firs and 33 percent girs.

If i did i might have been in the seventies. Overall i am very happy with my improvement over the winter. I also might have been in the 70's if i had those green lines on the green.

Jack Nicholus course in Puerto Vallarta. 6993 yards. One par 5 was 624 yards. Didn't make that one in two. Today's round was 82 on the same course. Played well. The elevation and humidity made about 1 club difference. I was just smashing my driver. I found that if i hit a low fade, the roll was great....sometimes 50 to 60 yards. So today my drives were a little longer. I hade to hit out of pot bunkers 4 times today. I don't seem to have that shot in my bag. 11 fairways today. Girs were 38 %. Putting was tough on me today. Hopefully i can get my tournament rounds in Monday morning. Nice to hit off of real grass.

Sounds like a great vacation, I have family in cabo San Lucas so I was curious where you were playing.
Sounds like your fairways in reg is awesome, hit more greens or don't miss on short side and you'll do great. Enjoy the weather!

I just showed my scorecard to my buddy. He says I shouldn't feel bad about the 86. Slope is 74.7/138. I will upload some pictures later. I took a picture of the 624 yard par 5..... you will have to zoom in to see the green.
