when I used skytrak range, I had to enter the club number (and if recall did not go beyond 9I), yet when I demo'd a wedge at Golfsmith using a gc2 ( foresight I believe), it automatically calculates distance .... Although I presume you can enter golf club data, it doesn't ask for it.
Whilst I understand that it would be useful to review data, and know what club I used..., I was hoping that for pure range practice.... And even more so with gaming on TGC, that I could just select a club and hit, without having to manually input which club I was using.
.... In other words, if I hit a driver or a sand wedge, I was hoping the device would calculate all it needs to by capturing club face and ball at impact,...... Which it would seem GC2 does.
