  • Accusport VSeries Software Issue

Hi. I'm not too sure if this is the right place to post this, but I am having issues connecting Accusport VSeries software to the device. I recently purchased a used Vector X which runs well. The unit came with 2 CDs. One which contained the VSeries Software .exe and the other with the contains the Install.bat licence key. When I run the Install.bat a window appears stating the Validation Key was copied successfully. I can run the VRange program with out any issue until I try to connect it to the Vector X. I receive a message that states

    This software cannot be evaluated.

Then the program closes. I have searched the web for a solution and found nothing. Can anybody offer any advise or tell me where I can find a valid licence key.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

    Cheers

I ordered a Vector X this past weekend and hope to receive it soon
I was able to download the software but not sure if or how much of it will work
did you have any luck finding a license key for the v series software?
I'm not sure if the key is only needed to run the "vrange" module?

    at help would be appreciated

VRange is a licensed program. If you are getting the message you don't have a valid license.

Never mind that it is no longer supported and you can't buy the license from anyone (and that it cost $500 in it's heyday).

I believe Seth was a software developer at accusport. I was hoping he could offer some assistance.

It is old software though so I'm pretty sure there is a way to "crack" it and use the 30day trial Vrange "key" for an unlimited amount of time. I swear I read a thread about it somewhere on here.

Thank you. I will do some research.

                Edit:

I couldn't find anything about a trial period nor does the program have any options for a trial period.

Ok, I finally got this working without a serial. Here are the steps.

Step 1. Delete any existing licence keys you have addded.

Locate the AccuSport user directory. Should be something like

                  C:\Users\YourAccount\AccuSport\vSeries

and delete any files named vSeriesKey.dll (if it doesn't exist thats fine).

Step 2. Rename the program licence Key.

Locate the vSeries program directory. Should be something like

                  C:\Program Files (x86)\Accusport\vSeries

Rename the file vSeriesKey.dll to original_vSeriesKey.dll.original

Step 3. Connect to Vector X

Press the "Run VSeries" button on the Vector X

If for some reason an ip address is not visible, press back and try again in a few minutes. The device is quite slow to recognise a valid connection.

Open the file name vs_vxProcess.exe in program directory (as above) and press "Connect to VX" button

Confirm the unit connects successfully. If you having trouble connecting it might be worth trying a crossover ethernet cable. I find it works with a standard ethernet cable but the manual recommends a crossover cable.

                  Keep the vxProcess program open

Step 4. Start the VRange program

Press the vRange.exe file to start vRange. Your should be ready to start hitting shots

Note: trying to connect to the Vector X from vRange will not work. The unit needs to be connect using vs_vxProcess.exe before VRange starts.

This solution should also work for VFit and VTeach

If you have any troubles let me know

Hi there, I recently bought a vector Pro, with micro lenses. I can't get Vrange to work at all, changed licence keys names deleted keys etc and I still get the error, this software can't be evaluated, tried changing the date as well. Any ideas???

There might be an entry in the Registry.

Change computer system date to 12/1/2011 and you will get 131 days to evaluate Vrange
