That is a scam. Anytime you see a picture in the description saying to email someone you can bet it isn't a legit listing. When you email them they will say they want you to send money via western union or some other non protected way. -

Looks like we are talking two different items. One is the sale of a GC2 the other is the sale of a GC2 with HMT. Am I correct or am I missing something????
And, how can you tell from the link posted by the OP that it is a scam ????? I looked through his feedback and it looks legit to me.

classic case of if it looks to good to be true then it is, if you want to buy anything like this via Ebay ensure the seller processes the sale through ebay and doesn't post a picture asking you to email them directly, this is a known scam process thats been around for years. this person hacks peoples ebay accounts and then posts this auction without the proper sellers even knowing, you can even search google for the email address provided and you'll find other stories of people being scammed for high end camera / music recording equipment. HMT's are very rare to pop up on ebay on their own, i'd suggest that you post on here when your ready to buy one as you're more likely to find one from a forum member.Comment

Sometimes people sell GC2 + HMT on here. It's better to ask if they will split them out into separate sales.
UK is notorious for GC2 / HMT scams. Has been for the past year.
I wonder sometimes whether a thread to highlight false / potential scam listing is a good idea to avoid people falling for these sickening schemes.
I regularly see a listing for GC2 / HMT from a person from California who moved to the UK. Its been put up 4/5 times with the exact same wording. It just can't be real.Comment

i've seen that aswell, that actual GC2 HMT combo was bought by a guy on "the other" forum back in August last year, but people accounts (the ones i saw were in Scotland) were getting hacked, people bidded and won or the auction was ended and the 2nd highest bids were email saying the auction fell through and would they like to buy it via western union or BACS, another standard EBAY scam. if you look at the feedback for the sellers the last 2 times it was posted the very last feedback was negative saying fraud selling buyer beware which is probably when they got their account hacked.Comment
