Complete SIM Build from Spectrum Golf

    Hi People,

Would appreciate your thoughts on the full SIM I am just about to pay for; I have seen from various posts that the quality of some of the products may not be of the highest but I would like some feedback on if it will do a good enough job and also on the value for money side.

Backgroud: I live in Dubai and pretty much none of the stuff is readily available for a DIY job or if it is it is either marked up heavily or just a load of hassle to arrange. I want a SIM for game improvement but also to have friends over for a round, my HCP is 9.9 currently.

Cost $3995 (should get 10% off this as the website offers it, but yet to be confirmed) so $3595 total
    Skytrak launce monitor
    10 x 12 x 5ft Frame
    10 x 12 x 5ft sided net
    108 x 120 supertex Screen
    Benq ST631 Projector
    Projector ceiling mount
    HDMI 25ft Cable
    3 blackout panels 10 x 12 ft
    100 ball bungees & 100 nylon ties
    5 x 5ft real feel mat

Looking at all the other options I see on the net this is the most affordable and seems like good value even if the quality is not of the highest. has anyone bought a kit from Chip @ Spectrum? I know there has been issues with bounce back but Im sure as an engineer I can fix that quickly and with little cost.

    Thanks

    James

I cannot say much about spectrum - I went with allsportsystems - I would recommend them. They are in the US so not sure if they can to Dubai.

Thanks, I suppose I will let you know as I have gone ahead as the guy has been really helpful and is a bit cheaper than AS. Let’s hope I won’t regret it, now I have to wait like an impatient child for it to arrive in 8 days.

I think you will be OK. Let the group knows how it went.
