I've got one single wall where I can put up the screen and to maximize the space, I tried to put it on wheels so that when I've got people over, I can slide the screen over and use the space in front of the door.
This worked ok except some major drawbacks
The first is that although the structure and it's wheels slide well, it was a pain to move each and every time someone wanted to goto the washroom
There is a small wall pillar on the left and having concrete on the left and the right side of the area was very dangerous.
Lastly, and most important was that the EMT structure, especially the bar on the bottom was very dangerous and I've had a few errant balls come flying back.
It's not just the sliding part is that's even draping curtains and such, i cannot provide the proper safety because I tried to use all of the space.
So now i'm in decision mode.
Option 1
Do I just get away from using the emmerive wide screen that I wanted and go down to approximately 12' wide which gives me 9' tall. I can easily spare that as my ceilings are 13 feet high.
Option 2
If the width really makes a difference I can try and move the door but this involves major construction work.
Option 3
Try to do the fold up into the ceiling
Option 4
Maybe reduce the screen size slightly so that I can build proper fold out arms to protect the system.
My Questions are
1) Which option is better
2) What is hitting off center? is that because of structure or distance from projector? My projector cannot be hit with either design.
