Thanks to this forum for all the knowledge! Did tons of reading and finally assembled a decent garage build after almost a year since purchasing my Skytrak. This is just the start of the build, but got it to a point where I can actually hit balls, plan to improve things further and clean up the space a bit more.
Still waiting on the Projector to arrive and need to build the PC so I can eventually run TGC (hopefully by the time the computer is built TGC 2019 will be ready).
details-
Launch monitor- Skytrak
Screen- 10’x17’ Staight from the mill V2. Folded the sides about a foot so it’s actually 15’ wide. Wood frame around the screen is 16’x10’, ceiling is about 11 1/2’ (used a tight net behind impact screen, with impact screen hung from 1/2” EMT using ball bungees and tarp clips)
will add a black border once finished up.
Platform- 8’x8’ with 10”x30” CCE insert. Made from particle board and 2x4 lumber. Then a layer of “anti fatigue” mat/padding from harbor freight. Top layer is just cheap green carpet, will replace with proper putting green material once I expand the platform to 12’x12’ and add a couple cups.
