Definitely! However if you are a laptop user the 970m and the 1050 ti benchmark about the same with slight FPS to the1050 ti.Originally posted by DaxBe careful on the video card number. Just because it is a higher nu,her does not mean it is better, just a new version. 900 series vs 1000 series. 1000 series is newer, but 970 still faster than 1050.
Use a benchmarking site as an indicator to compare. For golf simulators and to future proof these upgrades coming online (E6 Connect, TGC 2019, CG3D 2.5) I’m thinking a 1050 TI is the baseline. Again lower cards will run these but to spec up and have some future capabilities this might be optimal.

The 1050ti is not a suitable a "spec up/future proof" card for TGC. It is already BELOW what Protee recommends for TGC.

FaultyClubs If one is running a lesser card such as the 940MX, GTX 1050 ti and GTX 1060 3GB are very comparative on benchmark tests. They’re not as good as a GTX 970 but should run the software aok. You’re right. I’m coming at this from a graphics card that ran TGC and E6. The 940MX would be miserable for TGC 2019. Do you agree?Originally posted by FaultyClubs View PostThe 1050ti is not a suitable a "spec up/future proof" card for TGC. From Protee recommendations for the Sim. It's on their website. You have a Skytrak...they also list the Sim requirements on their site.Originally posted by Alphaseekr View Post
Just curious where you sourced that info? Otherwise I’m making a mistake
2k's requirements are for the pc game, not the sim.
