Foam tiles around a Fiberbuilt 4x5, good idea?

I’m replacing my CCE type mat, 4x5 in front of the screen below with a Fiberbuilt 4x5. I’m going to be selling it, along with Rukket 9x7x3ft Haack Golf Net Pro.

What I want to do is use 24x24 1in foam tiles and build around the Fiberbuilt mat. Has anyone ever done this?

Any views or building around a stance mat with foam tiles and some sort of grass?

Any pictures of your build to share or suggestions?

Nice set up. Very cool with the DIY, given how your mat is raised, I’m looking to raise the flooring around the mat, using your layout raising the floor to be close to even with the mat. I think foam tiles can achieve this but looking at all the DIY options.
