Hello everyone, I’m planning a home sim set up in the future. Space is a little tight. It’s a 10x10 space in the garage. Due to the tight space a lefty has to hit from one end and a righty has to hit on the other side. I’m considering a skytrak vs the new mevo +. My options as far as I know are to move a skytrak from one end to the other. Or center a mevo+ behind the mat. Does anyone have any advice? Also, does anyone know if a mevo+ will pick up shots hit on the side of the mat? I’ll attach a quick drawing of the space for reference.

This is exactly what I have envisioned either with the skytrak like you show or moving the mevo over as previously discussed...maybe skytrak will have one of their sales and I can be swayed that way lolOriginally posted by Shipwreck34 View PostI move it all the way to the other side for my application. I knocked up a quick and dirty picture to illustrate. To quote Doc Brown, "Excuse the crudeness of the model. It's not exactly to scale."

I think if you moved the M+ to stay inline with the shot (Lefty vs Righty) you would probably be fine, just not placed straight back in the middle and left there. Who knows though? If one of the guys here who already has one would test that for you, you'd have a better idea I think.
Other than either of those options, I might suggest that a used GC2 is only a little more than the M+. Just a door #3 to think about. Limitation there (more like an annoyance probably) would be having to keep it plugged in wherever you moved it. I always have my ST plugged in via USB since I never, or have yet to, have any guests. Even when I have run it over WiFi I rarely have any issues, and I haven't even upgraded my wireless mesh yet. My WiFi is 3 years old.
Sorry, just rambling...
