Hello,
Thanks for any help to start off. I've been reading quite a bit but have a few questions. To start off, I'm building in the garage and I have 10ft ceilings and I can only use one garage space which is 10ft wide and I believe I have about 20ft of depth.
My initial inclination is to get an enclosure from Carls that is 9.5" by 9.5" by 10ft deep with an impact screen.
I'm getting a Skytrak and The Golf Club software since I have a solid gaming PC from a couple years ago. Planning on getting a 5x5 real feel mat so i can use real tees and rotate it 90 degrees and get 4 sides of wear.
Being limited by a 10x10 screen size, I basically have no choice but to use the 4:3 aspect ratio.
My questions I guess are:
How do I decide which screen (preferred or premium)
And I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed by the number of projector choices and options. I've used the projector central webpage but it still feels like I'm just guessing. I'm concerned that I'll spend wasted money on a high end projector that is limited by some other factor. I want to do this once so I'm willing to spend $1400 or so on a projector if it adds value. I just dont know enough about software resolutions, aspect ratios, graphics cards....I know they are all related to a certain extent and I'm sure one of them can act as the limiting factor. Basically I want the best possible image given the limits of my space.
Thanks,
Mason
