Net Return - Room dimensions

Looking to go The Net Return in a room.

assuming the net return is as close to the wall as it allows....where would my closest tee be at in relation the wall?
In other words, how far from the wall would my tee be?

I have an original Net Return Pro placed directly against a wall. I measured my impact area at exactly 12 feet from tee to wall, which provides me about 8.5' of flight to net.

That's 3.5 feet of "empty space." I am considering replacing the Net Return with a net on hospital curtain track to sit 6-8" from the wall. That would buy an additional 2.75 to 3 feet of flight for simulation.

CAUTION: If you hit wedges on the NRP, you don't want much more than 8.5 feet of flight unless you have ceiling protection. I got a little "under" a 56* wedge and hit the label of the Net Return sleeve on the top crossbar. Of course, she who must be obeyed called downstairs "What was that?" (I'm sure that's her code for "Are you ok?")
