  • Carpet/turf color for buildout

I guys. I currently have green tiles on top of foam squares in my simulator room. The tiles don’t look great and my wife would like traditional carpet installed so our seven month old son can use it as a play area too.

It’s no problem to find normal carpet and leave a cut out for a hitting strip. However, I’m hoping to find a really high quality carpet that will mimic something around a 10 on the stimp. I haven’t really seen any carpet products online that are optimized for putting but have a traditional color that my wife will approve of.

    I’d appreciate any thoughts.

Google Camry Golf putting surface. It’s grey, carpet, and is supposedly the best surface for putting bar none. It’s cheap too and likely would do well with getting dirty from a baby.

Biggest issue is it’s a small roll - like 6 feet wide or so. Tough to do a whole room in it.

Did you find a carpet that worked for your space? I am looking for a charcoal grey carpet to finish off the floor in my sim room as well. I have a 5 x 8 CCE mat that will be inset to be level with the existing floor. I am hoping to find a nice looking carpet. I found a few Indoor/Outdoor carpet from the big Box Stores. My vision comes from the picture below.
