Started garage extension

work started today on my garage build, builder hopes to be finished on Friday so hoping mevo arrives as scheduled this week.

You had any update on your delivery date as yet?

Update of where we are, can’t get cladding just now but been promised it will be in later today to get the outside finished.
Spent most of today inside doing insulation etc floors getting done tonight and tomorrow and all going well will be in use early next week.

Sorry for lack of updates but had a little run in with Uk planning department.
All seems ok as I’ve now submitted plans despite it being almost finished, thankfully been told no action will be taken despite it breaking code.
Only thing in my favour was the old garage was too big beforehand, so no enforcement to get it back to the permitted size

Not quite finished as I’m still awaiting turf etc but I can at least hit balls, I know it needs a few tweaks here and there but think it’s not bad for a 1st attempt.

Now looking at at how I can upgrade the sim already, does that ever stop?

Looks class mate - how did you secure the bottom of the screen?

Also what did you use at the top?

Across the top I used a steel wire then added tarp clips with bungies to the rear wall, seems to work well.


The bottom I got a sleeve stitched in and used two broomsticks with pipe insulation, it keeps it stretched and also allows a bit of give as well.
