Hi. I am trying to plan my layout for a new build Golf SIM/Multipurpose room at the moment and getting great info from this site but one thing I am struggling with that will help me determine screen size/height, projector selection and location is the height of the bottom of the projected image on the screen above the finished floor level. Do you all project the image so it is the same level as your floor or mat or higher up? Based upon a 10 deg driver launch angle (not that I am even close to being that good) at 3 m (10ft) back from the screen then the ball should hit the screen around 500 to 600mm above the floor so the bottom of the image might be OK around this level or slighting lower.
I'm just interested to hear what height others have actually set their image up at as it seems to be one missing piece of information I am struggling to find, especially as the projected image will be for TV/Movies as well as Golf SIM. Golf SIM level will take precedence obviously.
