  • Alternatives with Par2Pro

Looking to build a simulator system with retractable screen + GC2 + Projector, etc.
Connected with Par2Pro and got a quote. Like their pricing and asking for pictures/spec to visualize the room. After that phone call, the sales person is suddenly not reachable. Not giving me any confidence to spend large sum of money on.

Should I acquire systems from different vendors and integrate them myself? Should I look for a different vendor? Please share your experience. Wonderful if you can share the vendor you used as well.

    Thanks.

I believe they are 100 legitimate but not the only game in town.

They are very busy, but that is no excuse. See if you can reach Cory directly. Also, I had thought that they had someone in their general number who picks up Mon to Friday? There are some alternatives though if you choose to go a different route. Just search for the topic and you will find the two others that sell what you are looking for.

They are a top notch company, but understand your frustration.

Who are you dealing with? My experience is they are slow to reply via email, especially the sales person. However if you call direct they are much more responsive.

Preston. Email was slow. I mean a week without a response. I then call his phone number directly. So far 3 days straight can't reach.
Sounds like I should call service direct. But I don't have a PO yet. I do have a quote from him. I just want to get the detail on each component so that I can visualize the room and put them all together in my head before committing ten+ thousands dollars. Is it too much to ask?

I worked with Preston as well and he was very good. If you have any issues reaching him you can always call the general Par2Pro customer service line and give them your quote number and they can help you.

I talked to Preston 2 weeks ago, sent an email response inquiring about the carpeting and I wanted to see photos. I got a response yesterday. Turn around time is slow, when I did my initial sales call they were upfront and said they were incredibly busy. When I inquired about the photos, I said "no rush" in my email.

They are busy and if you urgently want something you may want to go elsewhere. I'm not in a rush so I'm okay to wait for delayed response.

As far as par2pro is concerned, I have researched companies for a while and they have absolutely fantastic reviews.

                Goodluck

Everyone in this industry is busy at the moment as well so ensure you keep that in mind. I know an installinstaller here and he is getting multiple calls a week for full sim installs. It's great to see, but hard on ordering. Also shipping is taking longer as well. I will no longer use Purulator (or however you spell it).

                    Hey Everyone,

We are experiencing about 3 to 4 times the normal volume of requests due to COVID and we are doing our best to get back to everyone as quickly as possible. We have hired more admin staff but have not hired more specialists as they take a long time to train (we don't want to send 'sales people' to help our customers - they have to be specialists so that our customers get the best solutions for their needs). We have been telling customers up front about the delays to ensure that they are ok waiting as we do not want to set unrealistic expectations.

madawu we do apologize for the delay. Preston (and our team) have been working some crazy hours trying to help everyone as best as possible - there are just not enough hours in the day.

Feel free to email me your contact information to cory@par2pro.com and I will get Preston to reach out to you to schedule a time to talk.

We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding during this unprecedented crazy busy time.

                    Sincerely,
                    Cory Gauvreau

My dealings with par2pro were fantastic and I would not hesitate to purchase from them.

I think Cory's Par2Pro note above is a perfect example of their customer service. From my experience, I would thoroughly recommend them and I would encourage anyone to be patient and wait for them to be able to support you.

I'm guessing that any other company who is decent will be under the same pressure, and if a company are sitting at their desk waiting for your call at a time when Sim Golf requests are going through the roof, there may be a reason why.....

As you can see from all these responses, Par2Pro is a great company with excellent staff. Preston is excellent. Perhaps reach out again as I know they are very busy. You should get a response for sure.

Excellent is the right word. Preston understood, and delivered my custom order. They have experience and filtered out hardware and materials. They also did a great service for years doing trade show videos to introduce and expose new products. I rewarded their dedication by purchasing my setup through them.
