  • Space Size Help...LH / RH

Ok so my hopes are slowly being dashed, but hoping someone here can revive them. In a few months I’m starting a garage build in a standalone garage. I was hoping to go with a Uneekor Eye XO since I love the features, as well as my bro in law being LH and I want both us to be able to hit (both of us are 6’2/3”). My issue is the width of the space is 10’ 9” which from what I can find is on the edge of too narrow. I’ve been searching the forum, but haven’t found much so hoping someone out there can give me some guidance and/or suggestions.

The rule of thumb is 14 ' minimum and 15+ is ideal. There is no way that 10'9" will work without a system like the Hawk that has offset hitting.

You could mount the Uneekor on a rail and slide it from side to side to accommodate Rh and LH play. I did something similar with my Uneekor and it worked beautifully. I have since moved on to GCQuad so I can get data on the range and course, but Uneekor is a great tool for garage golf.

That’s awesome! Did you have the QED? I thought about the foresight ones, but I like the Uneekor features more (I think, I’ve only hit of GC2s before).

Also any issues with calibration when moving it?

Treyc321 I did have the QED and loved it. It's an impressive unit for sure. I calibrated using the supplied template (looks like a checkers board) over the hitting area where most of the play would be (for right handers). Since the height from unit to hitting area wasn't changing by simply sliding the unit over there was no need to recalibrate when moving it. I was able to play TGC19 with a RH and LH golfer without issue.

Great to know and very promising! This is probably the route I will go, thank you very much!
