    New Build Sim Room Complete

After several months of planning and research. And several months of building. The new SIM room is about 95% complete. It was a ground up room addition to my existing Workshop. New room is 30' x 16'. And I had a ton of help along the way from this forum. Too many people to thank individually. So I thought I'd post a few pics of how it came out, in case there are others here looking for ideas/inspiration, or in the middle of their builds now. Thanks again for all the help, this was a tremendous resource.

I'll try and put some info with each picture. Make, Model Number, Retailer...

Link to my original build thread, in case your looking for more of those construction details. https://golfsimulatorforum.com/forum...line-with-pics

Wow, looks great. I'm planning a similar layout, even the TV is on the same side. Is 30' x 16' the inner dimensions of the room or outer? I was thinking 26' x 18' outer and want to make sure I'm not to cramped.

My inner is 24x16 and it’s very comfortable width wise. And length wise with recliners on the back wall. No issues.

Looks good devildog1205 ! Do you mind sharing the link to the material you used as the border to hide the bungie clips on the edges of the screen? Also, the link for the padding on the walls and ceiling?

I've just finished installing my turf and monitor, and am on to the screen.

They are 1x6 boards that put foam on and wrapped them in black leather fabric. They are screwed to the wall and ceiling and come out far enough to hide the zip ties. I didn’t use bungees. The wall/ceiling panels are from Vant Panels.

If I had that setup, I’m not sure I would ever leave that room...

If you ever get this, I would love to discuss how you did the floor buttons. I'm starting to do my own research, but maybe you can fast track me.

Excellent build. You will have a ton of fun in there.

Questions: How far is the centerpoint of the FB strip to your screen? Also, how big of a screen did you end up with, and is there anything behind it to help with noise/bounceback?

                        Thanks.
