devildog1205 great build! I was curious how much space you left behind the fiberbuilt mat? I like your idea of putting the controller in the floor and I want to implement this in my build. I just got my putting turf and I don't want to cut it and regret making it too small.

I have about 9.5ā€ of putting turf between the back of the FB strip and the controller. Works great.

I built it with .75ā€ plywood and left over putting turf.

Details on Stomp pads (mouse controller on floor) this looks heavy duty make, model, cost? I assume you usb and TGC 2019 reads you want outside mouse control and it links up?
Doing 4 sims all together like a tee line and want these too. They are awesome for playing sim golf.
I'm also looking at Uneekor Sims - would you buy again? Also looking at OBS inserts that stuff is amazing.
You did a really nice set up - I will for sure keep you posted on my first venture - my Sim Studio in my Garage and then project #2 a 28 Bay Double Decker Driving Range with Glow in Dark and Day Targets - that flash and make noise when you hit them (9) 50 to 225 yards using glow balls & we have a new state of the art inRange gaming system that will cover the bays and the grass range bays and then 4 inside custom Sims attached to Bar area and another restaurant inside with upper and lower restaurant/bar in new 15,000 building - So this is an Extreme Driving Range Makeover.

The floor mounted controller came from here:

                  https://www.ebay.com/itm/TGC-2019-Co....m46890.l49292

I ran a long USB from controller to PC. Then created a TGC profile using the software that came with the controller. Any button on the controller can be mapped to any keyboard stroke. Works great!

Love the QED. Have had no issues with it. Highly recommend. If you install one. I’d highly recommend that the electrical outlet on the ceiling for the QED, be wired to a toggle switch on the wall. This comes in very handy when you need to toggle the QED on/off.

Questions: How far is the centerpoint of the FB strip to your screen? Also, how big of a screen did you end up with, and is there anything behind it to help with noise/bounceback?

                    Thanks.
Apologies for the late response here.

Hitting strip, tee to screen is 8.5’. Screen is 16’ x 9’. Behind the screen is a black cloth tarp and a heavy archery backstop screen. All hung from ceiling mounted unistrut.

devildog1205 How did you screw the 1x6" to the walls? I've got unistrut up, and was planning to bolt .5" x 6" boards to the actual unistrut for the border. I would paint them and then glue foam to them, but I'm wondering if you can give more detail on the leather wrap... May be a better alternative.

I took (2) 1x6’s and made them into an ā€œLā€. One side of the L got foam and black leather wrap. The other side is the L is screwed to the drywall.
