I have the EMT conduit in place and I am going to use raw screen material with tarp clips to attach the screen. Do you put the pipe insulation (protection) over the conduit before you attach the screen or after?

Thanks Ron. I was going to wrap the screen around the side as well, not just top and bottom. Same concept, but on the sides as well. I have 16 foot wide raw material on a 13 foot wide screen.
Can I do it that way as well. Looks like I need some clips as well.
You don’t want to wrap the screen around the sides, you want it to absorb the impact. Just fold the material over, then put on your tarp clips and attach them to the emt with the bungee cords. Having it wider is good for the future, as the impact area wears, just unroll the unused part and you get a new impact section. Adds to life of the screen vs buying a whole new one.
You can use black boat carpet with good double stick tape from the tarp clips to the emt then put your foam over the emt for a pretty nice look.
Just make sure you have a side wall/netting (or a shank board depending on what hardware you are using) etc between the foam and the ball or it will be bouncing back at you at light speed.
