  • Are STI NP45 and Grass Tex Money Putt the same?!?

Looking to buy some putting turf for an indoor putting green. I've seen some good reviews about Grass Tex Money Putt but I don't find any suppliers in Canada. However, looking for some suppliers, I found the NP45 from Synthetic Turf International, and I was shocked to see that it was the same picture as the Money Putt!!

I went a bit further to see where they were manufactured only to find out they are neighbours in Dalton, GA ... down the road from Synlawn.

Money Putt is a premier GrassTex putting surface, designed for putting, short chip shots, and indoor golf facilities. Free samples available.

Ideal indoor or portable putting green turf from Synthetic Turf International. Get a free sample of our putting green turf.

Yes, they're the same, from sister companies but made in same production facility.

Thanks Ron! I know you are using the Money Putt and swear by it. That helps me a lot.

Can you put a shallow cup in the money putt product without any issue? For a garage application where a car is going to drive over what would you recommend between the money putt and the true turf product by grass tex? The same material will be used as part of the standing mat with a fiberbuilt strip? Do both materials need to be glued down or can you get away with just having the money putt or true turf laid out over gym mats in a cement floor garage?

We cut regular plastic cups down to fit in Money Putt over 1" sub-turf foam tiles all the time, works well.

No experience with True Turf. If car will be wet/muddy, you probably want something cheaper like Turf Factory Direct stuff. We never glue or tape down Money Putt, it lays flat and stays put. Same with 1" EVA foam tiles below the turf.

Consider our Holy Grail hitting strip instead of the Fiberbuilt strip if you want better performance and putting rolls: https://store.gunghogolf.com/Holy-Gr...x30-p360373867

Does the 12x35 fit in perfectly in place of an already cut out spot for a 1'x3' fiberbuilt?

Yes. Only requirement is the floor surface below it needs to be able to hold adhesive velcro at front and back.
      Working...
