I am awaiting the 10 foot Par2Pro Stealth Retractable Screen for delivery. It will be going in my garage. I'm wondering how high those who are using the screen mounted it. I understand from the specifications provided by Par2Pro that 127" is the max floor to ceiling mount height. However, the projectable screen view image is 107.5" high. I'm wondering if anyone had to mount the screen lower than that in order to fill the screen with the projectable image. For example, a 16:10 ratio would cover 75" of height. I believe a 4:3 ratio would cover 90" of height. However, if you mount the screen lower so that only 75" (or 90") of screen retracts you miss out on another 15-30" of the screen to hit into. If anyone retracts the full screen (107.5") is it possible to have the image fill the full screen or did you have to mount it lower and just retract it 75" or 90"based on the aspect ratio you are going with? Hope this makes sense, just trying to determine how to best fill the full screen with an image, while utilizing the full screen if possible. Thanks!

If you have a gaming PC with an Nvidia card and a good projector, you'll be able to customize your aspect ratio on the Windows side - so you position your projector for your desired image height, then dial in the exact width in the Nvidia Control Panel and Windows Display settings. No need to worry about matching a 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratio.- Ron at GunghoGolf.com - we specialize in TrackMan, FlightScope, Foresight, Uneekor, SkyTrak, Garmin, Bushnell, TGC, and E6 Connect. 512-861-4151 or email hello AT gunghogolf.com.

Thanks Ron, your comment makes sense. Essentially I need to install the screen at a point I can take advantage of the full projectable screen height then tinker around with my computer and projector to fill the screen. Thanks!

OK, here's how I thought through some of this, check my work: I am hitting from a position of 7.5 feet away from the screen. The screen is 10 feet wide. Thus, the throw ratio is .75. I purchased the ViewSonic PX706HD 1080p Short Throw Projector because it had a throw ratio within that range. I was planning on mounting the projector above my head, central to the screen (save any minor adjusting I'd have to do to get the image at the perfect point). So that is how I determined what projector would work. However, you are saying calculate the throw ratio for the available image height. Would this change how I went about these calculations and the projector purchase? Also, for the test you are describing, I imagine it would make sense to have the exact computer I'll be using connected to the projector so I can full around with the Nvidia control panel and Windows display settings?
I really appreciate your help and apologize if I'm not following completely!

I checked out the throw of that projector at https://www.projectorcentral.com/Vie...r-pro.htm#calc - it's the first one I've looked at that maxes out its available height at 7'3" from a distance of 9'. Not sure why that's its max size, perhaps the focus won't work further away than that. I'd recommend testing how tall of an image you can get once you get your screen up, to see if you have more than 7'3" to work with. But yes, normally, the projector position is set for your image HEIGHT and then the width is adjusted on the PC to fit the available width of your screen in order to fill your entire screen.- Ron at GunghoGolf.com - we specialize in TrackMan, FlightScope, Foresight, Uneekor, SkyTrak, Garmin, Bushnell, TGC, and E6 Connect. 512-861-4151 or email hello AT gunghogolf.com.

Hello Platodw, I am looking at purchasing the Par2Pro Stealth 10’ retractable screen as well, just wondering are you happy with yours? Have you had any problems?
Im looking for feedback from anyone that has one of these.
My garage has 10 ceiling and I’m currently just hanging a screen from the ceiling, I would love a retractable..

I've been happy with the Par2Pro screen! Although I can't compare it to other screens since this is my first I definitely feel the quality of the screen is good. Ironically, I have not actually retracted it much other than at the beginning of use. My garage is a dedicated flex space so we've kept it down. That said, I'm still glad I have the option of retracting it for the few times we've needed to. A permanent enclosure wouldn't have made sense. If you have any questions let me know, but overall I'm a fan!Originally posted by Gordh View PostHello Platodw, I am looking at purchasing the Par2Pro Stealth 10’ retractable screen as well, just wondering are you happy with yours?
