  • Golfzon vs Trackman vs Full Swing

I'm looking to build an indoor golf simulator in my ADU. The space is 14'W x 20'D with a 10 foot roof. My budget is $60k.

With that said, is there any consensus on what the optimal setup is given those constraints? Golfzon seems to have the most complete setups at that pricepoint with a lot of fun features, but the reputation and endorsements on Fullswing and Trackman sims are also quite strong.

    Looking between:
    Golfzon Vision Premium
Full Swing Pro or Sport (more likely given the price point)
    Trackman Man Cave-type setup.

Any advice here would be awesome! Thanks

TrackMan would be my choice for proven golf ball and club data accuracy, flexibility to use outdoors when you want, company support, number of users, and software features/quality.

If you're going DIY, you can build out a high-end TM4 studio with 4K projection for around $40K (including the $25.5K TM4 indoor/outdoor unit). Not hard. If you're in the US and buy equipment from us, we'll guide you through everything you'll need, even the stuff we don't sell (computer, subfloor materials, parts list from Home Depot, etc.).

Side note: I had to look up the ADU acronym - accessory dwelling unit? Hadn't heard that before.

I would turn you to Uneekor EYEXO - you can PUTT and it gives you feedback the others may or may not, but club impact video in view comes with - the EYEXO is 10K and will save you a ton of $$ and you get more IMO - get you some cameras and a floor mouse and play 100,000 + courses with TGC 2019. I tried the Golfzon at PGA Show not impressive and limited course play. TM obviously is a great golfing diagnostic tool for PGA Players on the range but the delay of shot into screen is really not for sim play and it does not really allow putting at all. For a 60K budget get something built for inside and get you a Garmin for $500 to take to the range - just not a fan of TM for inside sim play. Full Swing is ok but over priced. don't get me wrong TM is great on range - probably the best but price tag alone it better be just the delay - the fact it has to be floor mounted and the putting combined with price tag - look into how many folks on this forum have gone to the Uneekor EYEXO and the ones that want to get one - 10K and built to be an inside sim - awesome machine. JMO spent time in all these booths at PGA Show and have played a bunch of rounds on a buddies new Full Swing. UNEEKOR EYEXO for me

Brett Virtual Golf 2 by TM, their sim software.

It's Trackman's golf software, like FSX Play for Foresight.

ok, the old Jack Nicklaus Perfect Golf, that TM bought... I wish they would have left course designer open.
    Working...
