  • Attach smaller impact screen to Sportscreen

Recently found a used 16ft Sportscreen for a good price. Thinking about purchasing and attaching my impact screen. The issue is, my impact screen is roughly 10x7. What would be the best way for me to attach my impact screen? Velcro sewed to the Sportscreen? Zip ties through the mesh? I'll clearly have a lot of extra Sportscreen around the impact screen, but I'm ok with that .

    velcro works best

do you have a sleeve on bottom? for added weight?

I have the 16 ft sportscreen and my wife sewed velcro into it for me. Don't try sewing the sticky velcro. My only complaint is the 16 ft sportscreen now sags in the middle and causes some wrinkles in my impact screen when I roll it up, but still functional

So you sewed Velcro to the middle of the Sportscreen to the size of your impact screen? Did you do this for all edges of the impact screen? Have any pictures of the final result?

My impact screen is taller than my hitting bay so just measured the impact screen length and sewed the velcro to sportscreen. I only have one strip of velcro at the top. I used the pipe that came with the sportscreen in the bottom of the sportscreen. I put pipe insulation around the pipe to prevent richoets, but it can still come back at you if it hits it. I ended up laying the foam gutter guards on the bottom. Should be readily available at Menards/Homedepot etc. There is about one wrap of the impact screen around the top tube when in use.

You can cut the sports screen roller to fit your length dimension. That's what they do for custom orders.

I have this issue too. I've been thinking of rigging something up to support it in the middle from underneath. However, I'm curious if anyone has tried to reinforce the tubing in same way to strengthen it up?
