Wrap screen around EMT and bungee across entire back?
Hello all, I'm looking to build an enclosure for a cheap package deal I bought off craigslist... it included a 12 x 8 screen, projector, mat, and Skytrak unit. I can only accommodate a 10ft wide enclosure in my basement - So, I was thinking could I wrap the screen on the left and right around the 3/4" EMT and hook the screen to itself across the back with several 72" bungees and the top with small ball bungees. The pro's of this would be seamless enclosure on the left and right and only a small gap at the top. So my question, would the bungees stretched across the back cause issues in bounce back, etc.? That's exactly how I have my screen attached and it works great. I used a stretchable bungee to connect to the loops on the screen's border, and then climbing rope to tie the bungees together and add the correct amount of tension. I only added two (measured 1/3 down from the top and 1/3 up from the bottom) but I also have a net directly behind the screen to take some of the impact so you may need more tie points than I have.
