Hi everyone. I need to protect my drywall. My sim setup is based on a return net that gets moved around a bit. the net is not quite wide enough for me to hit into 100% reliably from a comfortable distance, and side netting isn't a practical solution because of the flow of the room. My best option would be to create 2 movable barriers out of plywood, measuring around 5 or 6 feet high and 2 to 3 feet wide, for both the sides of the net.
I'm imagining glueing some sort of foam to the the surface of these barriers, but what foam (or similar material) would work and where would get it? It would need to absorb 100+ mph shots and prevent rebounds that could injure me or the windows behind me. Any advice? Thanks all.
