Trying to determine whether to use my garage or build outdoor shed. What's min height I need to swing freely? Thank you.

I have 9 feet exactly from the top of my hitting mat to the ceiling in my garage, my friend is 6'-0" has no problem. a couple of things to take into consideration are:- not everyone has the same swing path and not everyone can swing freely if they feel their club is getting close to the ceiling.
