I am building a golf sim in my garage but I want to be able to also use it as a theater as well. The main challenge is where to mount speakers when they can’t get impacted by the golf balls.
My idea is to mount them overhead the hitting area, but with the ceiling mounted launch monitor and the projector, it is hard to visualize it all fitting where it should.
Has anyone done this and could post pictures or advice to help me out ?
Has anyone put speakers behind the screen, maybe in the corners? Bad idea? Is the Carl’s place premium screen acoustically transparent enough ?
I could also put speakers above the screen but I would need to protect them with material that would be acoustically transparent yet impact proof. Anyone have any ideas for this ?
