  • Is this site secure?

Hi, I've noticed that this site does not seem to support https. That is extraordinary for any web site these days. Even during login it doesn't seem to be encrypting the login information. Can anyone provide any insight?

Just make sure you select and use password specific to only this site.

As someone that works in information security, your risk is very very very low on this site. As said previously, if you are worried just use a unique password. And don't share any confidential information.

Showing https:// now. But yes, it's low risk even without it.

Golfsimulatorforum.com is using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer), which is a standard security protocol for establishing an encrypted link between a server and a web browser. This link ensures that all data exchanged between the browser and the server remains secure.

SSL allows golfsimulatorforum.com and your browser to transmit private, sensitive information without the worry of eavesdropping, web forgery, and data tampering.

Keep in mind that you will still need to choose a strong password to prevent unauthorized access to your account. The object is to make it as difficult as possible for a would-be intruder to identify your password, whether by educated guesses or automated attacks.
