    I'm finally official!!

After 3 years of research and lurking on the forums, I am officially a proud owner of my very own simulator.... well at least the start. Just purchased a Skytrak yesterday and patiently waiting to receive it in the mail . I want to thank everyone in the forum for providing the questions and metrics to aid in my decision. I'm sure my browsing will increase exponentially now that I have to trouble shoot and set this thing up. I'm so excited. I plan to make this a permanent basement build and will promise to post as my build starts and progresses. Thanks again community.

Congratulations and enjoy. Nothing better then coming home from a hard days work and firing up the sim and playing 18 holes of golf or just grinding a practice session on the range.

Congratulations! Good luck with your build! The best advice I can give you is to fully map out your plan (both physical design and equipment/materials specifications), be sure to measure everything twice, and take your time. That last part is the hardest part! Lol. Looking forward to seeing your progress!

This is where it gets dangerous. I work from home and my build will be an office space/simulator. Good thing I am disciplined! not to say my lunch break won't be a few bucket of balls.

Golf simulators should come with a warning lable "Highly Addictive" lol Best of luck with your build.

Good luck. And don't play too much at first. I got that advice and promptly ignored it, played 3-4 rounds a day for a week and and got wicked elbow pain and couldn't hold a club, let alone swing one, for about a month.

Great Advice. I've already been impatient. My mat doesn't arrive until the end of the week, so I started hitting off of carpet remnants over the weekend. Definitely had some elbow pain cause of the no padding or give. I can't help it though, ITS MASTERS WEEK!
