  • Tgc2019

Hi all. I recently pieced together a golf sim in my garage. I'm working out some kinks, but I'm happy with it. Currently, I'm using the E6 software that came with my Mevo+. My ultimate goal is to play Augusta (I'm told is Firethorn on TGC2019) but I have a hard time justifying the cost after spending what I did putting the sim together . Any thoughts on trying to find transferrable/used TGC2019? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

I've played on three different ones, that is E6, Forsight and TGC 2019. They are all great and all have their own idiosyncrasies. From my point of view all are worth the price. Once is a while you can find TGC for sale, but not often and there is a fairly hefty transfer fee, so going with new is still seems worth it to me.

TGC has transfer fee of ~$400. Install takes a key. It is fairly well protected from trading in used market. Even a pain if you get a new PC.

I realize it's Masters weekend. If you get a good software package and explore other courses, you'll likely find Augusta National isn't that special. If you can't resist, the other subscription course software offers a trial for a week. Course is on there with a code name. If you get it, you'll like it. Annual cost is about the same as 6 rounds IRL.
