Link? Background? What's a "Quantum" in this context? **
** Never mind, I looked it up.

The handful of people that hang out in this channel would know, but if you aren't familiar with GSA then saying "it's complicated" is an understatement 😁. I'm referring specifically to the new ceiling mounted 3 camera stereoscopic system which is supposed to directly measure ball spin, using marked balls. Sort of similar to the Uneekoor QED. There are other systems in the pipeline with Quantum in the name e.g. Quantum Lite, so it can be confusing.

I tried to visit their website but it won't load (not a good look).

I'm not a representative of the company, just a potential customer. So I can only give you my perspective, gleaned from their website and this forum. The claims make it look like you get QED type functionality at approximately half the price. On the downside it's a beta product, literally only just released to the testers in the last few weeks. Hence the question at the top of the page. GSA is a small company, so not many resources to throw at this product (it appears that all the product development is done by the owner, Martin, but I could be wrong about that). Therefore it's unlikely to be "ready" for many months. "Ready" is a tricky word here, who defines what "ready" is? GSA will sell you products that are still in testing, if you are the adventurous type. The product that the testers have just finished with is the VisTrak Stereo. I believe it was in development/testing for the best part of a year, and by all accounts is now a very good launch monitor, but it doesn't measure spin. So if that's what your after you'll need to wait for the Quantum to finish testing or become an (unpaid?) tester yourself or look elsewhere.
If anyone associated with GSA is reading this, please let me know if I have said anything inaccurate, so I can correct it.

Your correct I beta tested the Stereo system for a year before all the bugs were worked out. It is a good system but uses calculate spin to me it is a very solid system but can be complicated to setup for the average person. I have just started testing the Quantum and will post when I think it’s worth considering.
i had a lot of inquiries about the stereo system from players looking at the system but never recommended it to them. If you asked me now about the stereo system yes it’s a good system putting is very accurate along with ball speed and launch angle along with video playback and the price is good. Personally i wanted calculated spin so hopefully it won’t take Martin to long getting it to work as of now. My opinion is Quantum is not ready for sale.

The Quantum is certainly not ready for sale. I am still a few weeks away from testing as my new sim room is currently in the taping stage. My sim is currently in boxes and I have everything onsite to complete the room. Based on Rick's reports, I would say that there are plenty of issues that need to be addressed. The Vistrak Stereo is a pretty decent system. I found putting to be extremely accurate for speed and HA. The quantum is in early Alpha testing.... If the quantum proves to work well, I can see everyone with a Vistrak stereo system, changing their system over to the quantum.
